Form the proposal I don’t actually see an example of a math template… digging into the link you provided gives me an example like this:

${statics[“java.lang.Math”].abs( variable )}

However with a bi more work we can setup something easier:

${Math.abs( variable )}

Using a snippet like the following:

TemplateHashModel mathStatics = (TemplateHashModel) staticModels.get(“java.lang.Math”);
root.put(“Math”, mathStatics);

Can I ask you to double check my research and update your proposal with an example of what is possible once the change is applied.

I also don’t see anything different in the proposal, likely it’s just missing an example of usage.
