Live Security Virtual Conference
Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today’s security and
threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond. Discussions
will include endpoint security, mobile security and the latest in malware
threats. http://www.accelacomm.com/jaw/sfrnl04242012/114/50122263/
That looks great Gabriel. Not only are the changes very good, but this is one of the best-documented GSIPs I have seen in quite a while (and some others have been quite good). It will serve as useful technical documentation for quite some time. Thanks!

Ciao Gabriel,
I had the opportunity to discuss this proposal briefly with Andrea and
also I went through it myself a couple of time thinking about our use
cases.
I am +1 with this work, however I did not see any mention about the
impact on performance with large catalogues of data in GeoServer. Did
you perform any tests?
I also did not see any mention about possible strategies for sticking
some caching on top of the new storage mechanism in order to reduce
the possible impact of not having all the config in memory anymore.
