Hi all,
I apologize for starting the rampage of GSIP's which have fueled much conversation over the last few days. While the conversations and visibility are good, people seem to be getting concerned about certain things and talking past each other due to lack of detail.
So I was planning on cleaning up whats there. In todays IRC we decided that a detailed road map is needed, and that should be where designs are documented. Once the design is further along the perhaps a GSIP would be more appropriate.

Agreed. Having a wiki page that summarizes current state of analysis and
design development is nice, but let's turn it into a GSIP once the
design is more or less finalized and only voting is needed.
