what about the various GSIP around?
#2 is still on hold because having jalopy in our poms would break release afaik
#3 is to be ignored, as well as #4?
What about #5? Brent?

Brent,
as we discussed in the last meeting (or second last), I agree with GSIP 5. Consider a +1 for me. Just to better define the release cycle against Geotools.
