Hello,
I am Ramindu Deshapriya, a 3rd year student of IT at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka. I would like to apply for Google Summer of Code 2011 through GeoServer via the ‘REST Configuration Clients’ project. I have quite a bit of experience with Java and PHP, and would like to tackle this project from a PHP angle. I have made use of RESTful API’s such as that of Apache Axis2 and Facebook’s Open Graph API in the past, although that has been merely to develop clients rather than client libraries.
I have gone through the project idea; the link for the RESTful API provided there is broken. However, I am guessing that this would be similar to the RESTful client example included in the documentation.
I would appreciate any feedback and details on any prerequisites I should fulfill before applying.
Thank You.

Hello,
Sorry to disturb but could I please get some feedback on this as the application deadline for GSoC students is by the end of this week, and I need to write the proposal.
Thank You.
