I would think so. If you don't mind Gabriel it would be nice if GeoServer and uDig can lurk back at 2.1.x for a while. I was going to release a patch release( 2.1.1 ) with whatever changes GeoServer 1.3.0 needs when it comes out.
I am actually thinking that a consistent release process would be good for geotools and udig. Say every six months, released three months out of phase.
What do you think?
