As per today's IRC meeting, geoserver development has to be held until we move
some stuff around.
If you have something to commit do it now. I will wait for Justin to come back
online, wich should happen on the next hour or two, and then will perform the
following changes:
- 1.5.x branch will be called ows4
- trunk will be copied to 1.4.x branch
- trunk will become 1.5.x
After that, all 1.4.x development shall be done on its branch, and trunk will
be open for WCS merge.
I'll send another message just before doing the move.
Alright, I am out of the pool, go ahead and do the move.

in the next couple minutes I'll be actually doing the move.
Will post again when it's done.
Gabriel.

I have finished the branch organization. The result is:
- 1.4.x stable branch (was trunk)
- trunk marked as 1.5.x
- old 1.5.x renamed ows4
Thanks to all for waiting till this changes took place.

Will the 1.4.x_merge_wcs branch now take its cool WCS-ness over to the
trunk? (to be available when 1.5.x is released)
I.e., if I want a working WCS branch, should I use 1.4.x_merge_wcs, or
should I use trunk?
Somehow I'm guessing the answer is "right now use 1.4.x_merge_wcs, but
slowly you'll want to start using trunk"
You got it Btw, I would say "very soon" instead of "slowly". Alessio and
Simone could give you a better schedule, but it seems they plan to merge
asap.
WCS will be merging onto trunk shortly, but right now trunk is just what trunk was (1.4) but with the pom version numbers now reading 1.5.
Alessio will let us all know when he will be merging WCS to trunk so we know where to develop.
