[Geoserver-devel] hudson dead

Hey Arne,

hudson seems to be dead, at least it times out.

wanna give it a shot?

cheers,

Gabriel

Very sorry about that. It was a MAC collision error of some sort, I didn't quite nail down the cause. Was back up about an hour ago and ran one build, then I pulled it down to update the underlying machine.

I hope it's stable again now, has been jumpy for unrelated reasons recently.

Hi Arne,

hudson seems to be hanging again, just a remainder so you give it a kick on
monday.

cheers,

Gabriel

Actually it was a bit worse this time :frowning:

The box was thoroughly compromised late on July 2nd, the only exposed ports were SSH, Apache and Tomcat and there were no known sever issues with any of the pacakges. I can't be 100% sure, but it looks like a weakness in Apache 2.2.8 that they were able to escalate.

Anyway, I've spent part of the weekend rebuilding the box from scratch with CentOS (no more Gentoo, I just can't keep up with the patches), so it was back last night.

aaime: I had the WFSV tests in mind last night, but unfortunately I moved jdeolive's .geoserver instead of hudson's and was too tired to realize which one was used. I've fixed that now, will put Postgis and tests back tomorrow.
