I'm a final year student and i was thinking about what i could for my
diploma. since i've been working with GISes for some time now i decided to
write about this. the next thing i need is a final product. i was talking
with Simone and Alessio and they game me idea about the "Ingestion engine"
an engine that automaticly detects new data, classifies it and registeres
at/in geoserver.

is there any irc meeting soon where we could talk about this?
Well, there is one today, the official developer meeting. It would be a nice place to introduce
yourself to the developer team, and maybe to chit chat about the ingestion engine.
For more in deep discussion about it, I guess the mailing list, a wiki page or a breakout IRC
only for the ingestion engine would be better
Cheers
Andrea
