Hi,
it seems that the latest deploy of teamengine on the CITE web site added the ability
to run test suites via REST calls (you’ll have to scroll down a bit):
https://opengeospatial.github.io/teamengine/users.html
Could be interesting for a future CITE compliance effort, we just stand up the GeoServer
for a given test on a network accessible port and then execute the test from remote, no
need to maintain our own machinery… of course, downside, we’d be at the mercy of the
test changing over time…
Just a thought, until we can organize a sprint to actually get compliant no action will likely follow up.

Well if the test changes over time I guess we want to use the new version no ?

Hehe, you’re reasoning in “infinite resource mode”.
If the test changes, who’s gonna take the time to check what happened, and either fix the issue in
GeoServer, or report a regression to OGC (happens often enough) and discuss with them until it gets
fixed?
Also, if the fix needs to be done on the CITE test side, who’s gonna pay attention to eventual further failures
that might accumulate in the meantime?
