My 2 cents.
I am not a fan or regular meetings, when regular means every week.
We might do it once every month or one week before a release.
On the other side, splitting the meeting might not be very beneficial
anyway, It would probably just duplicate efforts. I know that there is
a lot of momentum on the other side of the world now (people in
Australia) but, still, I would rather change the meeting time than
duplicating the meetings.
Simone.

Hi all,
given the participation in the last meetings, for various reasons,
I'm wondering if we should stop having regular meetings on IRC
and moving everythig to the ml.
This would allow everybody to participate to discussions in their
time zone and be more visible to everybody.
And we could still have the possibilities for IRC breakbout meetings
(whose log would be published to the ml) when a higher bandwith
communication mean is needed.
Alternatively, we can start experimenting with the double meeting,
one in a timezone good for europe and australia, and one good for
europe and usa (or any other acceptable combination), with topics
carried over from one meeting to the next one in the same day.
Opinions?
Cheers
Andrea
