[Geoserver-devel] IRC Meetings

Now that most developers are in North America or close to GMT, I was thinking we could abolish the 5:00 UTC Meeting.

Also could we perhaps move the second meeting to 16:00 UTC?

Vancouver: 9:00 AM
New York: 12:00 Noon
Johannesburg: 7:00 PM
Madrid: 7:00 PM

So the only person not included there is RobA (2am)- trying to remember when I have seen him online..
+1 as this is early enough that other members of my team can attend.

Hi guys,
sorry to bother but isn't 16:00 UTC Madrid:18:00?

Anyway is there any chance to make the second meeting at least 18:00
UTC (19:00 UTC would be better) in order to allow me, myself and I
(and alessio as well) to attend the meeting?

Thanks a lot,
Simone.

Yes it is, sorry my mistake, got confused

I am only in favor of the move if it works for everyone. As for me it is possbible to get to the 19:00 UTC meeting, so it can still work, just not ideal.

So what does 19 UTC look like for everyone again?

the last few times I've made the earlier meeting there has been nothing of substance going on. I'm basically in a holding pattern waiting for FM to get some datastores running so I can port geometryless. Then I'm on hand to help set up test cases for complexds, and provide some porting input if necessary.

Let me know if/when I need to surface...

Ok so how about this. We move the earlier meeting 2 hours forward to 7:00 UTC to facilitate us in Europe + Africa.

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meetingtime.html?month=5&day=23&year=2006&p1=256&p2=111&p3=141&p4=179

We leave the second meeting 19:00 UTC to facilitate our friends in North America as well as Simone and Allessio.
