[Geoserver-devel] Java Problem to start geoserver

Hi all,

I am havin a problem to start the geoserver.

I run “./startup.sh” and a java error looking for a class like that:

Djava.awt.headless “class not found exception”

The call is on the last line of the script and the jar file start.jar has not any headless class.

What is wrong ?

Can anyone tell me ?

Best Regards
Ezequias

Does it say -D or just D ? Perhaps I wrote it wrong. If you are
running on a linux that has X then I think it should be fine if you
delete the call. It's a preference that is supposed to be passed in,
so linux computers running in headless mode, like servers, work ok. So
see if you can get by with just removing it, or add a - in front of the
D if it's not there.

best regards,

Chris
