Ok but... is the migration actually happening? It was supposed to be done by
end of Saturday (as in, two days ago)

Well, that depends on how the migration script is written of course
(incremental updates anyone?).
I'm just worried we are looking at a week+ long migration, in a week we
normally have a lot of jira traffic in GeoServer,
I guess you hope people will just transfer stuff from mailing lists to
jira, I'm a bit more pessimist as usual

Got an update - got slowed down over codehaus performance over the weekend
With the placeholder issues created (the contents will be copied over this evening) new issues can be added osgeo-org.atlassian.net

It looks like there is an off-by-one error on the GEOS placeholder issues, introduced around GEOS-12 or GEOS-13. I hope this gets fixed.

Torben,
you are correct. In the committee meeting now; the implementer advises that this only affects the placeholder titles, which will be overwritten with the real titles as the Jira migration is completed.
Kind regards,
Ben.
