Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
        Key: GEOS-101
Summary: Frames for easier navigation of Documents
       Type: Improvement

     Status: Open
   Priority: Minor

Original Estimate: Unknown
Time Spent: Unknown
  Remaining: Unknown

    Project: GeoServer
   Fix Fors:
             1.2-beta
   Versions:
             1.2-beta

   Assignee: David Zwiers
   Reporter: Chris Holmes

    Created: Tue, 24 Feb 2004 2:25 PM
    Updated: Tue, 24 Feb 2004 2:25 PM

Description:
This isn't completely necessary for the beta, but would be nice. The user and developer documentation now build from docbook, which is a much more intelligent way of doing things. But the old ones had a nice navigation bar at the side. Obviously that was hard coded, and directly replicating that would be hard. But perhaps an approach like how javadocs do it? Just a frame at the side that links to all the docs?
