KMATTR only works on polygons, not points or lines
--------------------------------------------------
Key: GEOS-1140
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-1140
Project: GeoServer
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Google Earth KML Output
Affects Versions: 1.5.1
Reporter: Chris Holmes
Assignee: Justin Deoliveira
Priority: Critical
Fix For: 1.5.2, 1.6.0-beta1
So setting KMATTR to false only seems to turn off the attributes being exposed in points and lines. I believe it should entirely disable any labels on the points. I'm not sure of the exact way to do this, and can't really figure out how it's working on polygons...
I had been wondering whether KMATTR should actually turn of the labels, but I believe it probably should. With the templating stuff we should be able to have alternate ways to not expose all the attributes, which was the point of KMATTR in the first place...
This does kind of open a can of words, our strategy for labels in general - with polgyons we seem to properly pick up the labels from the SLD, but in my testing I couldn't get lines to do the same. I'm not sure about points...
