Transparent graphic from WMS GetLegendGraphic
----------------------------------------------

                 Key: GEOS-1466
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-1466
             Project: GeoServer
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: WMS
         Environment: All
            Reporter: Andy Dale
            Assignee: Andrea Aime

Hi,

When issuing a WMS GetLegendGraphic request to GeoServer, the returned graphic is not transparent as per the WMS spec.

I do think it would be a good improvement for GeoServer to be able to return transparent and non-transparent graphics by way of an extra boolean parameter called "transparent" in the request.

Thanks,

Andy
