wms/reflect?...boundlayer=XXX
-----------------------------
Key: GEOS-1488
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-1488
Project: GeoServer
Issue Type: Improvement
Components: WMS
Environment: all
Reporter: Michael Frumin
Assignee: Andrea Aime
Priority: Minor
so once wms/reflect is fixed, it sounds like it's going to pick the bounding box that encompasses _all_ layers specified in layers=X,Y,Z
I think it would be cool to be able to specify boundlayer=X so that it chooses the bounding box using only one specified layer
a use case is specifying layers to show the subway system for, say, nyc, but wanting to include roads and census tract boundaries which you might have for the whole state.
seems like this is a low-priority fix, but once the current bounding box stuff is fixed I imagine I could add in the handling of one extra GET parameter, assuming it's all in the same file and such.
thanks,
mike
