Misleading error messages from KML reflector
--------------------------------------------
Key: GEOS-2298
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-2298
Project: GeoServer
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Google Earth KML Output
Affects Versions: 1.7.0-RC4
Reporter: David Winslow
Assignee: David Winslow
Priority: Minor
Some of the error messages reported by the KML reflector are misleading; for example, if you specify only bogus layers in the &layers= query parameter then you get a 'no layers specified' message instead of 'layer foo does not exist.' This is confusing, so the error reporting in the reflector should be reviewed for clarity.
