Add support for 3rd dimension (when inserting features via WFS-T/GML)
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: GEOS-2564
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-2564
Project: GeoServer
Issue Type: Improvement
Affects Versions: 1.7.1
Reporter: Ivan Grcic
Assignee: Andrea Aime
Priority: Minor
If one wants to insert features (for en example via WFS-T) with 3rd dimension, it is not possible in current version of geoserver. I dont know excatly how the third coord is implemented in GML2/3, but it would be very usefull to have it working in GoeServer also.
Andrea Aime said:
GML3 supports 3 dimensions as a language, but GeoServer code does not.
Please open a improvement request at jira.codehaus.org,
not sure when we can work on it, but if many people vote on it we'll look into it.
I also browsed archive little bit and saw relevant discussion:

Guys from openlayers had similar issue in OL
