The Coverage UI does not correctly save the Grid CRS when the Native EPSG code is unknown
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: GEOS-3560
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-3560
Project: GeoServer
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Configuration, UI, WCS
Reporter: Alessio Fabiani
Assignee: Alessio Fabiani
On the Coverage Resource editing window when the Native CRS has an UNKNOWN EPSG code a reprojection is necessary. In such case the UI does not correctly stores on the catalog the forced EPSG code.

Andrea Aime reopened GEOS-3560:
-------------------------------
This fix caused a solid regression in the vector layer editing code: it's no more possible to compute the bounding box of a layer whose native SRS cannot be matched to a SRS code.
Can you explain why you had to modify the EnvelopePanel to update its fields only when a successful lookup occurred?
The behaviour is plain wrong, the panel is supposed to work even when the crs of the referenced envelope is null, so the change has to be reverted.
