----------------------------------------------------------------
Key: GEOS-3850
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-3850
Project: GeoServer
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: 2.0.1
Environment: SDE 9.2 (using 9.3 jars), Oracle 10.2, tomcat 5.5.9, Linux Debian Sarge
Reporter: Aleda Freeman
Assignee: Andrea Aime
GeoServer 1.7.6 fixed black No Data areas, but I find that for some rasters this problem has come back in 2.01. (using nightly from 2/9/2010). Below is name of image, type of image, whether arcy has a useful copy or clip, and links to screenshots.

Gabriel thinks this is easy to fix, and it's blocking me from upgrading from 1.7.6 to 2.0.1 because it's so disruptive. I can try to add more clips to arcy if that's helpful but since Gabriel got this to work before I'm hoping he already knows what needs to be done.
I wonder now if using the SDE 9.3 jars have something to do with it - but we need to use the jars to get the raster drawing speedup.
