LineSymbolizer: Bigger Stroke-Width produces a corner
-----------------------------------------------------

                 Key: GEOS-3900
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-3900
             Project: GeoServer
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: WMS
    Affects Versions: 2.0.1
         Environment: Windows XP, Tomcat 5
            Reporter: Bernhard Kiselka
            Assignee: Andrea Aime
         Attachments: tiger_roads_wms.png

The optical problem can be reproduced by looking at the south end of the South End Ave of Manhattan (Tiger Roads example). With a Stroke-Width of 7 the "corner" (don't know a better english word for it) is very small, but when you increase the Stroke-Width of the tiger_roads.sld to 100 it will look really ugly (see attachment).

Geoserver 1.7.3 has not drawn such corners. Obviously the corner depends on the position of the line.
