-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: GEOS-4440
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-4440
Project: GeoServer
Issue Type: Bug
Components: WMS
Affects Versions: 1.7.6
Environment: Redhat linux or Ubuntu 10.04
Java 1.6 64-bit with jai 64-bit
Reporter: Suneet Kamath
Assignee: Andrea Aime
Priority: Blocker
Have multiple layers configured in GeoServer using the 1.7.6 installation as detailed here

My initials thoughts was that the error might be related to the number of files for that layer being above 10000 and around 45 GB. as discussed in GEOS-3548. However, when mountng a network data store, the tiles are rendered.
This might be a problem with geotools imagemosaic as indicated in the logs, however I thought I would post the question here first.
Please note that we do have plans to switch to a later version of GeoServer but for now the plan is to use the exact version as documented in the link above.
Regards
Suneet
