[Geoserver-devel] [jira] Created: (GEOS-886) NumDecimals not per fetureType, but global

NumDecimals not per fetureType, but global
------------------------------------------

                 Key: GEOS-886
                 URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-886
             Project: GeoServer
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Brent Owens
         Assigned To: Brent Owens
             Fix For: 1.6.0

Right now the number of decimals (precision) is set by a global value. There are fields in the individual info.xml files that also define the precision, but they are not used. It would make sense to use the info.xml values instead. They should be included in the UI and if no value is specified, then the global value is taken instead.
