On large vector layers, with dimensions enabled, many rows may share the same time/elevation value. Accumulating over time, the table size can grow very large, while the actual number of unique dimensions is significantly smaller. Allow configuration and usage of a sidecar table, with a structure similar to the main one (same dimension columns) containing a summary of the dimension values, to speed up dimension extraction calculations. |
