By using the VendorOption “graphic-margin”, the SLD validation fails

In the attached sld I have simply copied an example from the official documentation: https://docs.geoserver.org/stable/en/user/styling/sld/extensions/margins.html

The error reported by the validator is as follows:

line 29: cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'VendorOption'. One of '{"http://www.opengis.net/sld":Stroke}' is expected.

On the map the rendering seems to behave correctly
