Long running WFS GetFeature operations have a habit of being closed, for the GeoPackage WFS output format this can lead to temporary files being abandoned on disk for “eventual” clean up on JVM exit.

There are two approaches:

  • Add to thread locale for operation cleanup
  • try / finally

In addition to the expected geopkg file, {{geopkg-wal}}or {{geopkg-shm}}may be present.
