Implement proposal https://github.com/opengeospatial/ogcapi-features/tree/master/proposals/query-by-ids for OGC API - Features plugin. Implementing the proposal would resolve an important and missing feature of the OGC API - Features spec: > The ability to query multiple features by ID in one batch, without the need to lookup or configure an ID-field for a feature collection and leveraging an CQL2-Filter. As stated out in the linked proposal querying one feature by ID is already possible, but since that would involve sending multiple requests to get many features by ID, this approach obviously does not scale very well. The implementation should be fairly easy, and if you’re ok with implementing that proposal in GeoServer, I would provide a PR. |
