Description:

The password XML element in wmsstore.xml is not encrypted. Looking at

ConfigurationPasswordEncryptionHelper.getEncryptedFields(StoreInfo)

the problem is that WMSStoreInfo does not extend DataStoreInfo. Additionally, the XStream marshaling logic looks different.

I am quite uncertain here, Justin can you have a look.
