I am having to do quite a bit of system-administration acrobatics in order to set up a load-balanced, distributed Geoserver cluster. My solution, which is not ideal, is a shared NFS drive that houses the “data directory” for all the Geoserver instances to share. It’d be much nicer (and in my opinion, better design) to support the storage of the config and other files in some popular database such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. |
