[Geoserver-devel] [jira] (GEOS-5494) After WFS request Geoserver check geometry type with Oracle connection

Richard de Bruin reopened an issue

In the past we did a work around by putting the layers where we have a wfs request on into a different workspace. But we now try to update to version 2.4.4 and this behaviour still excists. If we do a WFS request then Geoserver is going to check (geometry type check) all layers (more then 1000). This takes a lot of time and is weird because in the request there is only one layer where we do the request on. Increasing the feature type cache size doesn’t help.

The setup we are using is:
Windows 2008 R2 Enterprise, servicepack 1
Tomcat 7.033
Geoserver 2.4.4.
Oracle 10.2.0.5.0
Oracle client 11.2.0.1.0
