GeoServer fails to serve Oracle Layer

Issue Type:

BugBug

Affects Versions:

2.2.2

Assignee:

Andrea Aime

Components:

Oracle

Created:

21/Dec/12 8:42 AM

Description:

My Oracle Store is set up fine (its just an Oracle NG).
I then added a layer from the list and set it up with a style (default_polygon).
I’ve left most of everything on the default as I don’t know what they do. Its using 27700 SRS (what the data is).
Having finally got everything set up, I try and connect to it via QGIS but get this error:

Response: <?xml version=“1.0” encoding=“UTF-8”?><ServiceExceptionReport version=“1.3.0” xmlns=“http://www.opengis.net/ogc” xmlns:xsi=“http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance” xsi:schemaLocation=“http://www.opengis.net/ogc http://wppgeog3:8082/geoserver/schemas/wms/1.3.0/exceptions_1_3_0.xsd”> <ServiceException code=“internalError”>
Rendering process failed
java.io.IOException
null
ORA-00942: table or view does not exist

</ServiceException></ServiceExceptionReport>

The table in question definitely exists and the user definitely has rights to read it.
