Description:

ImageMosaic back in GeoTools learned how to handle also validity intervals, with start and stop, as opposed to simple timestamps. The code in GeoSever needs to be modified to expose and handle them as a consequence, handling not only Date but also DateRange.
Like in other parts of the code, what today uses Date will be switched to DateRange to allow usage of both Date and DateRange (which unfortunately have no inheritance/interface relationships).
