fullWMS mode is explained here: http://geowebcache.org/docs/current/services/wms.html.
At the moment I have to “patch” gwc-2.3.0.jar/geowebcache-wmsservice-context.xml and set property fullWMS to true.
It would be quit nice to offer this option within GeoServer - GWC - configuration pages.
I am aware of the implications regarding quality of served images.
