Description:

The shiny new alpha aware quantizer contains a workaround to work nicely on both JAI and Java2D RenderedImage subclasses. However this workaround chokes in some strange cases when the input tile grid is not aligned to 0,0

We need to improve the workaround to make it more generic:

  • with BufferedImage we should impose an untiled layout
  • with RenderedImage with should retain the input layout
