Some issues with disk quota using external database:
-
I missed the “Target database type”, my error wasn’t as clear which field I’d failed to fill in as it should have been:
“Field ‘dialectChooser’ is required.”
-
The “password” field is never pre-filled in, so I need to fill it in every time I want to change anything on the quota.
If this is for security, I’d point out that the password field in “stores” is pre-filled. I’m not saying which is right, but it should be inconsistent.
-
I have “Strong PBE” encryption for passwords enabled. But the password is stored in plain text in geowebcache-diskquota-jdbc.xml!!!
