The default mapping file contains this mapping:

$dateStamp.Date= if_then_else ( isNull(“metadata.csw.date”) , ‘Unknown’, “metadata.csw.date”)

Yet, there is no GUI to edit it. I would be rather useful to have an editor allowing to edit this and other properties, possibly based on this mapping file to know which properties should be presented to the user (although for a nicer user experience the config should probably have the data type, some validation option, whether the field is optional or not, and possibly some categorization to build a UI split into sections)
