Layer Preview needs to take “Advertisability” into account which involves filters for security and the Advertisable flag which are not supported by JDBCConfig. This means all the layers definitions have to be retrieved from the database, deserialized, and filtered with no database side paging or counting. Unlike the administrative Layer listing, the filters are important and can not simply be removed without altering the results on the list. |
