Currently the only thing which blocks someone from registering a new multi dimensional output format is the fact that you need to add your custom mime type to GetCoverage#mdFormats. I managed to work around this using reflection, and now my custom output format works fine. It would be nice if something could be added to the API to register multi dimensional mime types. |
