GeoServer provides URL access to icons hosted in the global styles folder: http://localhost:8080/geoserver/styles/grass_fill.png Icons stored in a workspace styles folder cannot be accessed in a similar fashion. Following the URL convention established for virtual OWS services results in: localhost:8080/geoserver/cite/styles/grass_fill.png
