If a plugin defines a new GeoServerPropertyConfigurer in its context without the ignoreUnresolvablePlaceholders to true, there is the possibility that its configuration overrides or invalidates the behaviour of other plugins. As an instance, when enabling the monitor extension, any additional extension or plugin using the propertyconfigurer won’t work properly anymore due to the fact that its placeholders won’t be resolved unless the properties are written on the monitoring.properties file itself. |
