When a layer has a metadata link set without a host, the WMS 1.1.1 and 1.3.0 GetCapabilities responses will transform the link using the proxy base URL. For example, if the proxy base url is “http://localhost/geoserver” and the metadata link is “/rest/metadata?layer=test1” then in the WMS capabilities, it will be “http://localhost/geoserver/rest/metdata?layer=test1”. This transformation is not being applied to metadata links in WCS 1.0.0 DescribeCoverage, WCS 1.0.0 GetCapabilities, WCS 1.1.1 DescribeCoverage, WCS 1.1.1 GetCapabilities, WFS 1.1.0 GetCapabilities and WFS 2.0.0 GetCapabilities requests. |
