See the attached image, there is a blue border around the map result, and the map does not have this border. This issue happens to any GeoTiff (Raster) file that uses a real value (float) as cell type. Looks like that the value of the artifacts are interpreted as 0, because you can set 0 as null and the artifact disappears.
