  1. log out of geoserver

  2. go to main page (http://localhost:8080/geoserver/web/)
    you can login normally

  3. logout

  4. you’ll be redirected to the main page, click on “layer preview”, you’ll end up on; http://localhost:8080/geoserver/web/wicket/bookmarkable/org.geoserver.web.demo.MapPreviewPage?2

  5. use the login at the top of the screen

  6. you’ll be redirected with a 404 to
    http://localhost:8080/geoserver/web/wicket/j_spring_security_check

Expected behaviour should be a normal login (i.e. step 2)
