Hi,

i have idea for new textsymbolizer vendor.
It could be works with another vendor - followLine - and PerpendicularOffset.
This vendor should be specify, where is located text-label along the line, inside/outside polygon or on the line by default like now.

In my example i need it for text along borders, but inside hexagon. That could be helpfull as well for maps, with text along borders inside countries.

Requirements

  • element must be polygon
  • follow line is used
  • PerpendicularOffset specify distance from line
  • supporting vendor forceLeftToRight

Of course that could be done with another ways.
