hi everyone
We are using Geoserver for labelling maps with american natives names with special characters.This characters are known or could be combined in utf8 standard (as combination dicaritics + standard characters).
With a standard font (for example Arial) most of this characters are painted correctly, but geoserver failed to render one of them:this is ‘\u0268\u0303’ who represents a ~ on a LATIN SMALL LETTER I WITH STROKE .
Normally I think that if we combine them, the point on the I should desapear and the tild should be ont the top the letter.As we can see, In geoserver the tild is slightly on the left and the point is present. (see attached image).
