Implementing integration tests for JMS plugin is not an easy task. To fully test JMS events propagation and events handling several instances of GeoServer are required. We will also need a way to get the differences between two GeoServer instances (at least configuration and catalog differences) to make sure that instances are fully synchronized. There is currently no support for instantiate several GeoServer instances for integration tests proposes and we should take in consideration the static classes (like GeoServerExtensions) that are used in several places in GeoServer. |
