Integrated GWC generates ResourceURL tags in the GetCapabilities document. The “template” values are in the form http://host_name_and_ip/geoserver/gwc/rest/wmts/ Having the /rest in the template means that public layers cannot be queried without providing the administrator password. This means that clients that use the ResourceURL to query the layers will fail to do that (for example QGIS)
