WMS GetMap URLs that are included in GeoRSS and certain KML output formats can lose some parameters from the original GetMap request. Some of these are relatively newer vendor parameters. The list of ignored parameters is:

bgColor
exceptions
interpolations
maxFeatures
remote_ows_type
remote_ows_url
scaleMethod
sortBy
startIndex
style_format
style_version
validateSchema

Additionally, GeoRSS URLs will lose the time, elevation and custom dimension values.

This issue is partially dependent on https://osgeo-org.atlassian.net/browse/GEOS-9003 since the interpolations and sortBy parameters are lists the correspond to the layers parameter.
